Day 1. Arrival at Kigali international airport, Meet and greet assistance you shall be connected to our Safe Hands Safaris representative with a warm welcome, transfer to your Hotel, assist you to check in and  brief you about your entire safari as well. Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel/The Retreat.

D2. Kigali- Akagera National park.

Early breakfast, check out and transfer to Akagera national park. It will take 2.3hr to 3hours maximum to reach to this beautiful destination home of different wild animals. You shall pass by Akagera game Lodge, take packed lunch, and proceed with game drive starting from Southern part of Akagera national park to North gate. This will take about 5 to six hour having remarkable moment of watching different mammals including big five thousands of antelope and zebras, distinguished lovely birds to watch, reptiles like crocodile, direrent types of snakes…

After this wonderful memorable experience, you shall check in at Mantis Epic Hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3. Transfer to Volcanoes National Park and Check-in at One&Only Gorilla’s Nest.

After breakfast, you will depart from Akagera and head to Volcanoes National Park. The drive takes approximately 5 hours up on arrival at Volcanoes National Park, you will check in at One&Only Gorilla’s Nest Resort, enjoy a hot lunch at the resort, have an afternoon relaxation at the resort and overnight stay at One&Only Gorilla’s Nest.

One&Only Gorilla’s Nest is a luxury resort located in the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes. The resort offers stunning views of the volcanoes and the surrounding rainforest. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind before your gorilla trek the next day.

Day 4. Gorilla trekking and departure.

Early breakfast (6:am )and head to park headquarters where you will get briefing about your gorilla trekking. You shall be transferred to starting point of a guided walk to your lifetime experience of Gorilla trekking   with highly experienced park guides.

Volcanoes National Park is a beautiful and diverse park that is home to a variety of wildlife, most famous residents are the mountain gorillas. Mountain gorillas are the largest primates in the world, and they are one of the most endangered. There are only about 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the wild, and Volcanoes National Park is home to about half of them

After the wonderful experience, you will have a hot lunch at One&Only and check out to be transferred back to Kigali. The drive takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight departure.
